How to Save a Snapchat Story

Snapchat doesn't give you a way to save someone else's Story, that's just how the app works. So here's the workaround, three steps, and you've got your own copy before it disappears.

Copy the Snapchat Link

Open the public Story you want to keep, tap the Share button and choose Copy Link. To grab everything a creator has posted publicly, open their profile instead and copy that link.

Open the Story or the creator's profile on snapchat.com and copy the address from your browser's address bar.

Tip: The link must point at public content. Friends-only Stories and Snaps sent in chat never appear on the web.
